The wider the crack the more rubber it takes to fill the crack. Therefore you will want to choose the grade according to your particular application.
Finish - For smoother surfaces and cracks smaller than 1/8 inch wide.
Medium - For cracks wider than 1/8 inch but no wider than 1/4 inch. Not to be used on smooth finished surfaces.
Expansion Joint - Very coarse finish, should be used on rough surfaces and on cracks no smaller than 1/2 inch wide.
For ALL grades: If the crack is deeper than 1/2 inch the caulk should be applied in layers. Do not apply the second layer until the first layer becomes hard.

APPLICATION
- A plastic caulking blade, trowel, or brush can be an excellent applicator for this lightweight, flexible caulk.
- Applications over cracked surfaces deeper than 1/2 inch should be applied in two applications - approximately one-hour apart.
- Hyperflex® Caulk will dry in approximately 24 hours (depending on ambient conditions).
- The container should be closed after application to prevent surface drying within the container
- The plastic applicator can be easily cleaned with warm water.
- For best results, the repaired surface should be top-coated with Hyperflex Primer to insure maximum protection and durability.
