| The surface must be clean, dry and free of any foreign matter. Washing with tri-sodium phosphate solution (de-greaser)
followed by
rinsing with water is recommended. Hyperliner will not bond to oil or grease. |
Surface must be dry before proceeding. Do not apply if surface or air temperature is below 50(degrees), or if rain is expected before dry time. Damp or humid conditions will slow dry time. KEEP FROM FREEZING. | To create clean edges - apply painter's tape around area to be painted. Excess paint can be wiped away while still wet, or gently scraped off before 24 hour curing period is up. |

| Hyperliner® is best when brushed, but may also be applied with a spray gun, roller, or trowel. When brushing on, use crisscross brushstrokes to ensure even coverage. Use the largest tip compatible with spray gun. Mix thoroughly. Hyperliner can be applied directly out of the can. If needed for ease of application, thin up to 10% with water. |
Dries to touch in approximately 2 hours. Cures in approximately 24 hours depending on temperature and humidity (most cool or humid climates allow 72 hours). Test by scraping with a
quarter or dull edged metal, if
rubber gives, allow an additional 12 hours until rubber is completely
cured. It is highly recommended that nothing be hauled in the truck bed
until cured. |

How much do I need?
Coverage
varies depending on truck bed condition. Most 6 foot truck beds require 2 gallons, 8 foot truck beds will need 3 gallons.
One gallon will cover approximately 25 square feet with 50 mils (.05 inches) of coating (depending on surface irregularities). Just $1.80 per square foot!
Hyperliner® on other surfaces
Average Surface: One gallon covers approximately 75-100 square feet with about 5-10 mils (.005-.010 inches) of coating.
Calculate it
Length x Width = Square Feet of Surface
Divide the total square feet of surface by the number of feet covered in one gallon = Number of gallons for the job.
- Hyperliner on average surface: Divide the total square feet by 75 = Number of gallons for the job.
To coat a patio that is 15 feet wide x 20 feet long = 300 total square feet
Hyperliner: 300 ÷ 75 = 4 gallons of primer needed for the job.
What does it bond to? (*Surface cannot be pealing, flaking, crumbling or extremely oily. Smooth surfaces must be sanded or acid etched for Hyperliner® to bond.) Rust? |
CLEAN-UPClean-up equipment, tools and spills promptly with warm, soapy water. |
